Parents Engaging Parents (PEP), Inc. held a New Jersey statewide, Virtual Conference “Week Of Engagement”, composed of Parents and Community Leaders from the Civic, Private and Public sectors to bring awareness and empowerment relating to Social Justice, Education, Health and Economics. Holding true to its mission, Parents Engaging Parents (PEP), Inc. utilized its platform on the “Week of Engagement” to promote civic awareness and proactive community advocacy based on the interest of parents and guardians. It was the collective work of parents to organize and lead the Virtual Conference. This parent led conference provided first hand information and opportunities through the live streamed engagement on Facebook.

Notable community leaders such as NJ Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblywoman Angela McKnight, Assemblyman Jamel Holley, and Councilwoman Sheneka Boucher joined and shared stories and collective knowledge under the umbrellas of Social Justice, Education, Economics and Health. They were intricate in giving real time information and resources along with organizations such as the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, YMCA and leading financial and educational institutions. The three day event, in partnership with the NJ Project HOPE, sponsored a supportive infrastructure to reach our community for an on-going engagement for parents and community.
